Join VFGC for this comprehensive fence-building school. You will learn from leading industry experts about materials selection, brace design and fence layout and construction. The afternoon portion will include hands-on fence construction in the field under the guidance of our instructors.

The 2023 Fence Building School will be held at two locations:

FULL  WED, APRIL 19: Bedford Extension Office.  1257 County Farm Road, Suite B, Bedford, VA 24523

Extension Office is part of the Falling Creek Complex (includes the County Nursing Home and Falling Creek Park).  The complex is just south of Bedford off of Falling Creek Road (Route 714).  County Farm Road is directly across from the Animal Shelter and the Sherriff’s office.  Once you turn on County Farm Road, travel to the end of the road.  Extension and Bedford County Parks and Recreation are in the same building.

WED, APRIL 26: Cub Run Dairy. 9605 Dairy Rd., McGaheysville VA 22840

Take Exit 247A off I-81 to merge on US-33 E. Go 5.3 miles. Turn right on Rt 655 and go 1.2 miles. Sharp right to stay on 655, continue for 2.9 miles. Turn left onto VA-650. Go 0.1 mile and turn left.
