Pasture Walk at the Adams Family Farm in Red Oak
May 31, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Register now to attend our May 31 pasture walk and learn how Miller Adams successfully established a pine silvopasture using native warm season forages to increase summer forage production and improve cattle performance during the intense heat of summer.
During this tour of the Adams farm, we will learn about the role of silvopasture and the process Miller used to establish this new grazing area. We will also learn why he used native forages for this additional grazing acreage. We will also introduce you to partnering agencies who might be able to help you with similar projects on your own farms.
For your $5 registration fee, you will be provided with a boxed meal and a valuable educational experience.
