Working Lands for Wildlife Program: Enrollment Open
The new Working Lands for Wildlife Program is officially open for enrollment at your local USDA-NRCS Service Center. This is a statewide program putting the farmers production goals first and capitalizing naturally on the proven benefits to wildlife. A true “Win – Win” situation. This is a great opportunity for any farmer who is looking to establish some perennial summer forage to provide grazing during the summer months and decrease the risk of a feed shortage during long dry periods.
