Danny Boyer, NRCS (ret.) - On my farm, and in my years as a conservation specialist I have worked to help farmers improve productivity with environmentally sound management practices.

Mark McCann, VA Tech, Animal & Poultry Sciences - My research and extension programs are designed to improve animal performance and resource use while reducing environmental impacts.

Steve Pottorff, Va Cooperative Extension, Carroll Co. - I work with producers to provide crop production and management guidance for their farms.

Kevin Spurlin, Va Cooperative Extension, Grayson Co. - I work with producers to provide nutritional and production information for their farms.

Dr. John Fike, VA Tech, Extension Forage Specialist

- I conduct research on forage and livestock production with a focus on silvopasture and bioenergy crops.

Dr. Gordon Groover, VA Tech, Extension Economist Farm Management - I help answer the questions, “Is this profitable” and “under what conditions is this not profitable?”

J.B. Daniel, USDA-NRCS Grassland Agronomist

- I work to promote the full productive use of grasslands throughout VA by the adoption of conservation practices supporting improved grasslands management.

    The Virginia Forage and Grassland Council seeks your assistance in honoring the life of Dr. Harlan E. White. The Dr. Harlan E. White Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established by the Virginia Forage and Grassland Council and will be used for scholarships, education, research, and other activities related to the promotion and better understanding of the forage industry.
